For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven. (Ecclesiastes 3:1, ESV)
The leaves have fallen from the trees. The weather turns colder. The days grow shorter. The seasons shift. We leave the season of Autumn and the new season of Winter begins.
This Sunday is the last Sunday of the Church year. Next week we begin a new season of the Church year called Advent. We enter the holiday (holy days) season.
Life is filled with different seasons. Maybe you are entering a new season in your life. Maybe it is a winter season, and it is a difficult road. Maybe it is a summer season, and days are filled the light of joy. Maybe you are in a spring season of planting and making a new beginning. Maybe you are in a Fall season of harvest and are reaping what has been sown.
Whatever the season, the Lord is the Lord of the season. The Lord will guide you through this season. There will certainly be good times in this season and also difficult times. But know that the Lord is present in every season. How will you seek the Lord in this season?
