  • Worth The Time

    Worth The Time

On the heels of Jesus, the crowds are growing and expecting more from Him. But he is looking to Jerusalem and His cross. Here in our gospel reading from Luke, Jesus is confronted with the sin of covetousness and he addresses this sin with a parable of a fool interested only in this life and wealth. Jesus is going to the cross even for this sin prevalent in every culture and lifetime. Jesus Christ is our only hope not just in this life but in the next no matter how much we are worth, or how much we think we are worth.

Vicar Jeff will be sharing today’s message. There is no sermon outline for this week.

  • Real Prayer

    Real Prayer

Prayer says something about our worship. It says something about what we believe. In our Gospel reading, Jesus is seen praying and is asked to teach a prayer. He obliges with the words of Lord’s Prayer, but he goes further to speak to us with a parable, the extent that God will go to care, provide and forgive those who pray and that we learn about ourselves in the process. How badly we need His grace.

  • Ephesians: Full Armor of God

    Ephesians: Full Armor of God

Today, we conclude our Ephesians Message Series as we take a look at Ephesians 6:10-22. There is more to the challenges we face in life than meets the eye. There is a spiritual war taking place in the spiritual realm. But we think our problems are natural, so we turn to natural solutions. We don’t sense that we need God despite our inability to fix the brokenness in and around us. If we want to win our war, it starts with being strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.

  • Ephesians: Honoring Relationships

    Ephesians: Honoring Relationships

We continue our Ephesians message series. We take a look at Ephesians 6:1-9. Paul continues his discussion on relationships in the family and in the workplace. The quality of these relationships greatly affects the quality of our overall well-being. Good relationships at home and work translate to greater happiness. Bad relationships in those places can leave us miserable. Paul encourages us to take personal responsibility in the way we honor those in authority over us and treat those who are under our authority.

    Ephesians: Love & Respect

Today, we continue our Ephesians message series. We will take a look at Ephesians 5:22-33. Divorce and marital unfaithfulness are epidemic. Conflict abounds between husbands and wives who are churched and unchurched. But God’s Word has much to say about building a healthy and strong marriage. In this message, Pastor Phil will explore a simple concept that is often overlooked by the culture and many Christians too. Missing this simple concept is the major reason so many marriages struggle. While this message will primarily address married couples, there are other points of application that will be able to be taken away by individuals who are unmarried.

As much as we know God, there is always something more to know. As deep as our relationship with him may be, there are always greater depths to be discovered. As far and as high as he may take us, he can always take us higher and farther.
