Death Wins!!!

April Fools! Not true! Jesus wins! He is risen! Alleluia! Happy Easter to you and your family.

Our verse of the week is:

“And he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him.” (Mark 16:6, ESV)

Today is Easter Sunday, and we have come to an end of our 40 Day Lent journey. Thank you for subscribing to receive these devotions. I pray that they have encouraged you and been a blessing in your walk of faith.

I have enjoyed hearing from many of you from many different places during the last few weeks. You have shared prayer requests. You have shared your appreciation for my writing. And many of you have donated towards our meal packing event in June. God is doing great things! The tomb is empty, and my heart is full.

Before the beginning of Lent, I told you that I was evaluating the next steps for this blog. And I had hoped to share with you what those steps would be before the end of this season. But I am not yet ready to share with you what will be happening.

One thing I can tell you is that I will be taking a break from writing for the next few weeks. Although, there may be a few exceptions when the inspiration comes. This is a sabbatical of sorts, to take time to be refreshed and renewed. I want to take time to focus on some other things I need to focus in on during this season. Thank you for your prayers, for your patience, and for your understanding.

Finally, if you want to pick up a Lent Devotion Book for next year – The Kindle Versions 40 Things to Give up for Lent and 40 Things NOT to Give up for Lent have a special Easter price of $2.99.

God’s blessings! He is risen! He is risen indeed! Alleluia!

Thank you for daily devotions. I find them inspiring. I have a son who has struggled but is much better and I send them to him to help strengthen his faith. God Bless you on your continued ministry Jan Luken
