Gratitude goes a long way. It is a cure for much that ails us. Things like worry and discontentment will fade away when we practice a little gratitude.
Gratitude is much like a muscle. The more you use it the stronger it becomes. The less you use it, the weaker it will be. You want to become stronger with your gratitude. Start flexing it!
Give thanks for:
- The people in your life
- The possessions you own
- The experiences you have had
- The abilities God has given you
- The gift of a new day
- The opportunities before you
- The life lessons learned
- The beauty around you
The list goes on. Take a few minutes and write down some of the things for which you are grateful. A don’t forget to give thanks that God is in your life.
Keep in mind that gratitude is meant to be expressed to others. Gratitude is not meant to be kept to ourselves. It can be done through a text message. It can be done by complimenting another person. But that other person will not know that you are grateful unless you tell them somehow.
And make sure to express your gratitude to God. When it comes to God, you can express your gratitude through song. You can also express your gratitude through service. One of the best ways to express gratitude to God is to tell others about how grateful you are to God.
If you still feel ungrateful, ask the Holy Spirit for help. Gratitude comes from the heart. It is a gift God gives to us like everything else. Ask and you will be given!

Yes Pastor I agree, To try to live our lives with gratitude and appreciation for our many blessings or to be
consistently unhappy looking at the parts of our lives that we feel fall short somehow
